My family absolutely loves this smoothie. It actually tastes so sweet and YUMMY. It’s hard to believe it’s good for you. A great way to add Chia Seeds to your diet.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup of Almond Milk (any nut milk would work)
1 tbs of chia seeds
1 banana
1 cup frozen Raspberries
1-2 handfuls of Spinach (optional)
Mix the chia seeds into the nut milk and let them set for a few minutes. Break up a banana and put into the blender. Place the raspberries into the blender. Next pour the milk into the blender be sure to scrap out all the chia seeds. Blend the ingredients in the blender until it is a creamy constancy. If your feeling brave you can add 1-2 handfuls of spinach. It will change the color of the smoothie, but not the taste of it. If it is to thin you will need to add more frozen fruit. If it is to thick add just a little bit of nut milk at a time until desired constancy is reached. Try it with mixed fruit or strawberries! You really can’t go wrong with this recipe. ENJOY
