These Zesty Cheesy Kale Chips are so amazing. These chips are healthy and taste so, so good. No MSG In these babies! These kale chips will be the hit of the party. Here is what you will need to make these Zesty Little things.
Ingredients:
1 bunch of kale
2 cups of soaked & drained cashews (soaked 2 hours)
3 Tablespoons Nutritional Yeast
1 cup of water
1/2 cup olive oil
1 1/2 tsp sea salt
1 tsp turmeric
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tbsp red pepper flakes (optional)
First you will need to clean the kale and de-stem the leaves.
Now, pour the soaked cashews into the blender, next you will add the water & the rest of the dry ingredients. Blend the ingredients.
Next pour half the olive oil into the blender, blend again, then pour the rest of the olive oil into the blender, blend until completely emulsified.
You will then pour the mixture over the kale leaves and massage the sauce into the leaves until the leaves are all covered. If you are using red pepper flakes you would sprinkle them on the leaves and massage them in now.
Place the leaves onto a dehydrator sheet, be sure to spreed the leaves apart so it wont take as long to dry. Place them in the dehydrater on 105 degrees for 12-16 hour.
For those of you that don't have a dehydrator, don't miss out on these. Use your oven and set on a low temp.
Your taste buds will be pleased! :)
